This rent a car experience was great. The delivery was fast, car was great, excellent price, insurance was offered and we asked to use it for 2h more and they didn’t charge us. In the end they even gave us a ride to the airport since it was on the way to their office.

the best rental company on the island.
we needed a car to reach the catcocos ferry or we chose to be independent to visit the praslin islands and the sea wall. the contact with sunshine was very courteous and very responsive.
we had a battery problem on a car and Star was able to help us in 30 minutes even though it was Sunday.

They were very accommodating. Available cars, competitive rates, delivered the vehicle to the cruise port and was able to drop off at the same location. Car was in very good condition. Während unseres Seychellen Urlaubs haben wir die letzte Nacht vor Abflug auf Mahé verbracht. Hierzu hatten wir eine Unterkunft an der Anse Takamaka gebucht. Wir kamen zuvor mit der Fähre aus La Digue an und hatten uns einen Tag vorher darüber informiert, was der Transfer von dem Fährterminal zur Unterkunft und am nächsten Tag von der Unterkunft zum Flughafen kosten würde. Die Preise für ein Taxi/Transfer sind leider sehr teuer (~120-130€ in unserem Fall).
Also habe ich am Abend zuvor bei der Suche nach einem Mietwagen (statt eines Transfers) die Autovermietung Sunshine Cars entdeckt. Ich habe mich am Abend vor der Anreise telefonisch bei Sunshine Cars über die Preise erkundigt. Hierbei konnte ich erfreulicherweise feststellen, dass die Preise bei diesem Anbieter deutlich günstiger als bei der Konkurrenz sind und sie auch Mietwagen für die kurze Dauer von einem Tag anbieten. (45€ pro Tag zu diesem Zeitpunkt plus einer optionalen Zusatzversicherung von 13€)

Also habe ich die Reservierung bei WhatsApp durchgegeben. Am nächsten Tag bei Ankunft am Fährterminal stand auch schon jemand mit einem Namensschild bereit. Die Übergabe des Autos verlief reibungslos und ich habe noch die Zusatzversicherung dazu gebucht. Einziger Kritikpunkt hierbei ist, dass der Mann sehr gestresst und etwas unhöflich rüberkam.

Die Rückgabe am nächsten Tag am Airport verlief ebenfalls unkompliziert. Ich sollte einfach das Auto auf dem Parkplatz abstellen und den Schlüssel ins Handschuhfach legen. Einfacher geht es nicht.

Zusammenfassend kann ich diese Autovermietung sehr empfehlen. Die Autos sind sehr neu, gut ausgestattet und wir haben für den einen Tag knapp 40% weniger bezahlt als bei anderen Vermietern. Vielen Dank noch mal!
